Bradford and Airedale I.M.P.S.
Bradford I.M.P.S. was set up in 2001, and Airedale I.M.P.S. began in 2003. We cover 157 schools and train approximately 5,400 children each year.
I.M.P.S. programme
We deliver the I.M.P.S. programme to mainstream primary schools throughout the area. Depending on room availability, we can also provide IMPS sessions for non-mainstream schools
Sessions are run from Bradford Royal Infirmary and Airedale General Hospital.
Other programmes
We currently run a community outreach programme at various venues throughout Bradford and Airedale. Training includes:
- Adult basic life support
- Paediatric life support
- First aid
- Home safety

Our local primary care trusts provide 50% of our funds. The remaining amount must be found elsewhere. This is called match funding. Our match funding until April 2008 is provided by Bradford Metropolitan District Council.
