I enjoyed everything the I.M.P.S team taught us, now I’m confident about how to help someone if they are unconscious. Also how to put someone in recovery position.
We are so pleased that you are feeling confident about helping someone. Let us know if you have to put your skills into action in the future.
I have learn’t allot from you and am going to use your advice.
Great news. Let us know if you ever use your I.M.P.S. skills in the future.
I have learnt lots from you and will always use the skills when I see someone injured or badly hurt
Thank you, make sure you let us know in the future if you use any of your I.M.P.S. skills
What do i do when someone is unconsious but I don’t know if they’re breathing or not?
That’ s a very good question. You need to check if the person is breathing by opening their airway, and then looking for signs of breathing – is their chest rising and falling? Listening to hear sounds of breathing and feeling for breath on your cheek. You can find out just what to do here.
I practiced CPR on my teddy, and I put my brother into the recovery position
That’s a great way to practice!
I practiced CPR on all my toys, and put all the toys with arms in the recovery position!!!
Well done! We would love you to send us a photo of your toys in the recovery position
Many thanks for all the brilliant work you do. (I’ll always remember the
helmet you showed…and was grateful I was wearing mine when knocked off my
bike and it broke in two.) So it’s not just the children you influence!
i loved it i have done it on all my family
I have kept myself safe by looking to see if there is any cars coming and if i saw someone hurt I helped them by calling 999 the ambulance service
I want to be a doctor when am older and a pilot
