An intrepid team raised money for Oxfordshire I.M.P.S. on June 15th by abseiling 100 feet from the top of the women’s centre at The John Radcliffe Hospital at the weekend.
Lisa and Ellie who both work at Wheatley Primary School said ‘we loved it’ and Lynda joined the team to raise money to fund I.M.P.S. visits for her grandchildren’s school.
Simon said ‘It was the first time I ever abseiled, but I did it for IMPS! I had a double chocolate ice cream to celebrate, and me and Mr Keymer raised a lot of money. I support I.M.P.S. because my family have benefited from the teaching, and as a casualty doctor I know the importance of the skills I.M.P.S. teaches.’
Well done to the I.M.P.S. team who raised almost £2000 towards teaching emergency life skills to Oxfordshire children.
