Woodeaton Manor Farmer’s Market Fundraising Triumph

Students from Woodeaton Manor School presented a donation of £145 to Oxfordshire I.M.P.S. today.

Rhodri Jones, Daniel Horne and Cain Downton recently ran a stall at Headington Farmers Market selling home made cakes and chutneys as part of their GCSE course.

Rhodri Jones (pictured middle) who has used his I.M.P.S. skills to make a 999 phone call during an emergency situation nominated I.M.P.S. as the charity to benefit from the donation.  Rhodri and Daniel said that they really enjoyed fundraising for I.M.P.S. and want to continue with the first aid they have learnt.

Lynn Pilgrim, I.M.P.S. project manager said ‘ I was delighted to return to Woodeaton Manor School to receive this donation, especially as I awarded Rhodri his certificate during my last visit.  We are thrilled that Rhodri and Daniel chose I.M.P.S. as their charity and the donation will be put towards the cost of the I.M.P.S. visit for the next group of students from Woodeaton Manor School.’
