What a great week!
Since covid stopped us in our tracks back in March 2020, we have been unable to deliver our programme in a hospital setting as intended.
We managed to continue getting the I.M.P.S. messages out there via online lessons to start with.
Then we gradually moved up our recovery plan to delivering the whole programme in the school setting, which has been really well received.
However, what we really wanted was to reinstate the hospital sessions as soon as it was safe to do so.
Well this week it happened, we welcomed two year 6 classes from St Joseph’s Primary School to the John Radcliffe Hospital to take part in their I.M.P.S. sessions.
We intend to invite more schools to visit the JR during the autumn term, and also restart our sessions in the other local hospitals as we did before.
We think you can tell from the photos that everyone involved had a very positive visit and learned many new skills.
