We had the most fantastic team of marathon runners this year and you can see from their faces in the image what it meant to them to complete the London Marathon 2024.
We know that a lot of the team went straight back to work the following day nursing their aching limbs, including Christian McGuiness who is the head teacher of Woodstock Primary School.
Just to show truly international we are, would like to share a few words from Ignazio who ran with his son Gianfranco.
“I have become a grandfather for a month and also being a volunteer of the Italian Red Cross, for which I carry out mainly the first aid activity (118), I thought it is a great idea to teach even the youngest children how to prevent accidents and how to acquire certain skills to help those who have been hurt.”
