I am a freelance illustrator and have worked in Berlin.

Now I am back in Oxford and teaching art and design at the City of Oxford College. 

In the past, I have worked with I.M.P.S. to illustrate their on line resources.

Luckily I have never had to use any of these skills but I am aware of what I should do in the case of an emergency.

When I worked in a bakery and I was constantly monitoring risk for both myself and customers as well as complying with health and safety regulations.

I ensured that there are limited hazards in the work place so that when working daily with machinery and hot drinks, there are no incidents that cause injuries or accidents.

Now at college, I also monitor risk for my students.

Along with my more recent health and safety training and the I.M.P.S. emergency course, I have become more aware of risks in everyday life and am confident that in the case of an emergency I would be able to deal with it quickly and effectively.
