100,000 I.M.P.S. pupils in Oxfordshire

Oxfordshire I.M.P.S. celebrated reaching the milestone of teaching 100,000 children on July 17th 2019.

The children from Windmill Primary School attended their I.M.P.S visit in the morning and then joined The Lord Mayor of Oxford,Councillor Craig Simmons, I.M.P.S. trainers past and present and friends and supporters from the Oxford University Hospitals at a celebratory event.

Another guest was Adam French who was our first I.M.P.S. pupil back in 1995 who was presented with a certificate.  You can see more images in our gallery.

We also welcomed our old friend Rhodri Jones who came along to show his support.

The children showed off their new skills by teaching the Lord Mayor how to use a defibrillator.

Many thanks to to Tesco, Kidlington, Waitrose, Headington and the Marks and Spencer  franchise at the John Radcliffe Hospital for donations of refreshments.
