30,000 and counting!

Oxfordshire I.M.P.S. has reached the target of teaching 30,000 children how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Amber is a pupil at SS Philip and James in Oxford and she attended an I.M.P.S. session with her class recently.  Little did she know that morning that she would be chosen as our poster girl to celebrate us reaching this milestone.

Amy Thomas I.M.P.S. co-ordinator said “We are thrilled that so many children around our county now have these life saving skills and it is a joy to teach them.”

Using an AED is so simple – you don’t need to have any special training.  For information on using a public access defibrillator click here
